Elliott Masie, the internationally recognised futurist, analyst, researcher and humorist on the critical topics of technology, business, learning and workplace productivity, is featuring at this year’s Moving Learning seminars in the UK on 13 June and the Netherlands on 14 June.

Elliott Masie is one of the world’s best known learning professionals – known throughout the learning industry for his prolific commentaries and insights into business and learning through his books, newsletters, conferences, research programs and business consultancies.

At Moving Learning 2007 Elliott Masie will present a keynote session and chair a one-hour discussion panel, that will also feature Ron Edwards of Ambient Performance, Bob Mosher of LearningGuide Solutions, Nick van Dam of Deloitte, Clare Line of Lovells, Walter Jaeger of BT and Jeffrey Berk of Knowledge Advisors, each of whom are also providing presentation sessions at Moving Learning 2007.

The world is flatter, with more global enterprises, rapidly changing content and new expectations from learners,” said Elliott Masie, whose keynote session, titled Learning in a Flatter World - Faster, Flexible, Focused and Different, will present a thought-provoking call for dramatically evolving our learning strategies.

“I’ll be talking about learning in the age of Google with fingertip knowledge, the end of memorisation, rapid development and informal learning, global models for content and knowledge sharing, learning as a tribal and social process, and from e-learning to smart content,” added Elliott Masie.

Elliott Masie's presentation will be interactive and draw upon his work with the 250 global companies in the MASIE Center’s Learning Consortium and the experiments conducted through their Learning Lab.

Elliott's professional focus has been in the fields of corporate learning, organizational performance and emerging technology. He has developed models for accelerating the spread of knowledge, learning and collaboration throughout organizations. Elliott is acknowledged as the first analyst to use the term e-Learning and has advocated for a sane deployment of learning and collaboration technology as a means of supporting the effectiveness and profitability of enterprises.
